Welcome to Hafnia College

At Hafnia College, you can enjoy your own kitchen, bathroom, and toilet while avoiding the communal kitchen. The waiting time for a housing unit here typically ranges from 6 to 12 months. If you are going to study in Copenhagen and also wish to engage in sports at a high level, either alone or in a group, Hafnia College is the perfect choice for you.

The college consists of 140 youth housing units, including 7 units adapted for people with disabilities. Here, you live side by side with other sports enthusiasts who are also in education. The college is located in the midst of a lively and attractive sports environment, creating the perfect setting for both elite athletes and active student athletes.

Located right next to Valby Sports Park, which is one of the largest sports facilities in the Nordics with its 50 hectares, the area offers 28 football fields, an outdoor stadium with a capacity of 8-10,000 spectators, 4 indoor halls, a water culture house, and the impressive Hafnia Hall.

Valby Sports Park is a destination for versatile sports activities with a wide range of offerings in both recreational and elite sports. Nearby, you will also find Hafnia Hall, Copenhagen's new large indoor sports hall, which offers facilities for strength training, beach volleyball, badminton, and indoor football.

KAB is currently exploring the possibilities for you to sign up for a meal plan near the college. The surrounding nature in Valby Park provides ample opportunity for both running and walking in beautiful surroundings, and within a few years, a bathing beach will even be established.

The college is located about 4-5 km from the center of Copenhagen, making it easy to cycle into the city. Additionally, it is just a short walk to Ny Ellebjerg Station, where you can take both regional trains and S-trains, and in the future, also the metro.

Practical information: Each apartment comes with a small storage room at the entrance, which is ideal for storing sports equipment, for example. You must bring your own white goods. The college is smoke-free in both the housing units, common areas, and the courtyard.
